Christmas is a great time to support the activities of the Irish Blue Cross whether you make a seasonal donation or decide to set up a standing order.  Each Christmas hundreds of contributions are received by the charity including one of our largest annual donations from the Department of Agriculture and Food, allowing us to plan for the year ahead.

Set up a standing orderby contacting your bank and letting them know you wish to make a regular donation to the Irish Blue Cross bank account held at AIB bank, 40/41 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2. (Account No: 01580039. Sort code: 93 12 25). More people are using this method of support.  If you are in the PAYE sector and make a yearly contribution of say €250.00 (e.g. €21.00 a month) and you are on 42% tax, the charity will receive an additional €181.00 from Revenue at the end of the year.  If your tax bracket is 20% the gain to the charity is an additional €62.00 from Revenue.

Or, simply go to our secure donation page and make a donation right now by clicking here.  If you prefer, please forward a cheque or postal order to the Irish Blue Cross, 15A Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, Dublin 8.

Make a bequest (ask for our legacy information pack and leaflet).  Every year, the Blue Cross UK obtains millions of pounds in legacy income.  Legacies made to the Irish Blue Cross will enable us to plan the charity's future too.  In 2003, the Irish Blue Cross acquired a second hand premises at Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, Inchicore as a garaging facility and central administrative office.  In 2006, Dublin City Council granted planning permission for the development of an on-site small animal clinic.  The charity hopes to get started on developing this exciting facility in 2007 so that even greater numbers of needy animals requiring low cost surgery can be assisted.

Take one of our collection cans and place it in your office reception area or in a local shop. This is a great way to fundraise for the Irish Blue Cross.

Would you like to take some collection cans?

If you prefer, you are welcome to discuss your ideas with Una or Chris regarding any of the above on 01-416 3030
