Volunteer Mobile Clinic Drivers Wanted
Volunteer Mobile Clinic Drivers Needed.
We are currently recruiting for Volunteer Mobile Clinic Drivers to join our amazing Volunteer team.
You must have a current C1 drivers licence or have experience driving commercial vehicles (E.g. box trucks, sprinter vans, etc.), and be able to commit to one evening per week.
Overview of the Volunteer Mobile Veterinary Unit Driver
Our Volunteer Drivers drive The Irish Blue Cross Mobile Veterinary Units to locations within Dublin from our central base at Inchicore.
The clinics commence at 6.00pm and operate until 8.30pm approximately. The Mobile Veterinary Unit will need to be picked up from the central base approximately an hour ahead of the clinic start time to allow time to reach the destination, taking traffic and other variables into consideration.
On arrival, the driver will assist in a general capacity with the queue of clients and when the clinic is finished, he/she will drive the vehicle back to base and lock it up.
Locations of Evening Service
There are ten regular weekly evening-time locations, Monday to Friday, as follows:
Monday Cabra and Tallaght
Tuesday Crumlin and Blanchardstown
Wednesday Ballyfermot, Ballybrack and Smithfield
Thursday Finglas and Walkinstown
Friday Whitehall
This is a great opportunity to join a highly dedicated team, whilst helping thousands of sick and injured animals each year.
Please send details of your experience and cover letter to Jasmin Doyle, Mobile Clinic Services Coordinator, via email; jasmin.doyle@bluecross.ie
